Bob Butz
Vice President, Operations & Supply Chain
Bob Butz is vice president of Operations & Supply Chain at Raytheon, a business of RTX that specializes in integrated air and missile defense, advanced sensors, space-based systems, hypersonics, effectors and cyber solutions. He leads 13,000+ employees and is responsible for manufacturing and supply chain strategies and execution across Raytheon’s broad portfolio. He has more than 37 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
Butz was previously vice president of Operations for Power & Controls at Collins Aerospace. In that role, Butz was responsible for achieving Power & Controls’ commitments to safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost and industrial strategy.
Butz joined Collins Aerospace as part of United Technologies’ acquisition of Rockwell Collins. He also served as vice president and general manager for Aftermarket Services at UTC Aerospace Systems prior to the acquisition and held several leadership roles at Goodrich Corporation prior to its acquisition by UTC. He led major business transitions and profit and loss management for its Aftermarket, Quality, Operations, Global Supply Chain and Program Management teams.
Butz holds an FAA Airframe and Power Plant license and spent four years in the U.S. Navy.
