Mike Anderson
Vice President, Engineering
Mike Anderson is vice president of Engineering for Raytheon, a business of RTX specializing in integrated air and missile defense, advanced sensors, space-based systems, hypersonics and effectors. In this role, he oversees a team of 28,000 world-class engineers innovating new technologies and enhancing existing capabilities that align to our customers’ priorities across Raytheon’s strategic business units.
Anderson brings more than 25 years of engineering, technology development and program execution experience to this position.
Prior to this role, Anderson was vice president at Collins Aerospace, leading the Engineering & Technology organization within the Mission Systems strategic business unit. Mission Systems provides capabilities spanning communications and networking, resilient navigation, command and control, collaborative autonomy, strategic solutions, integrated mission systems, advanced technology, and shared services.
Anderson previously served as executive director of Central Engineering Services for Mission Systems, which included governance and compliance, engineering excellence, whole life engineering, product design services, government security compliance, digital engineering, and integration projects.
Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree in business administration from Iowa State University.
